About Us
Hand Poured Vibes was founded in 2018 by Dean Bernard. At 32 years of age, Dean got the news that would change his life. Cancer. He had to give up his Executive Chef position but found a new outlet for his creativity. Candle making, it was a way to spend down time between chemo and to continue to support his family. It became a passion project for him. His candles and story grew in popularity and he was selling them faster than he could make them.
This is where “mom” came in and our mom/son partnership began. My name is Martha, Dean's mom. Sadly, on April 2, 2021, at 35 years of age, Dean passed away peacefully with his family at his side.
Hand Poured Vibes has today become a "Legacy of Love" for me. A way to keep alive Dean’s love of creating something special and a way to stay connected to my son. A portion of each sale is directed to Dean's son "Liam" for his educational fund.
Each candle is hand poured with great care but most importantly "Love".
